With the latest EOS software based switches from Arista, it is now possible to embed the Citrix NetScaler VPX to give a resilient, line-rate, low-latency data centre architecture with high-speed layer 4-7 load balancing and intelligent application and server health monitoring.

The architecture allows for much faster application response time through web content caching, compression and TCP optimisation and ethernet connectivity to all physical servers in a rack. Which leads to a potentially ubiquitous 10 GbE solution.
